The Guy Who Keeps Us Moving
At the end of every job, the team is starting to run out of steam. Before Joe, we’d have to do a full day’s job and then work together to take the trash, load the supplies and clean up from the job.
For over four years, Joe has driven the company van wherever it needs to go, whenever it needs to be there. Supply pickups, drop-offs, hauling away trash, hanging pictures, mounting televisions, hanging drapery and curtains, and donation runs. He carries out the last of the packing materials when everyone else is running on fumes. If it needs doing and nobody else has gotten to it yet, Joe’s already halfway there.
And Yes, He Brings Candy
And he shows up with candy in his pockets. Ask anyone on our team: when Joe shows up on a job, he’s everybody’s favorite person to see walk through the door. (He was our Employee of the Year in 2024 by a unanimous vote.)
Joe keeps the company van and our storage unit in immaculate condition. He’s the one you can see on weekends cleaning the bins. Joe treats our shared resources like they’re his own, and his reliability keeps our moves running smoothly behind the scenes.
Like many on our team, Joe needed a flexible schedule so he could keep the house running including handling carpool for his sons.
The Human Side of Our Team
At Silver Linings Transitions, we talk a lot about the senior and specialty move management, the emotional weight of letting go of a home, a life, a chapter.
What people don’t always see is the human side that makes our team work. Joe is the person who’s willing to do whatever needs doing, without being asked twice, with a good attitude and a piece of candy in his pocket.
Thanks Joe!! We’re lucky to have you.
